Once upon a time, a story of a botanical garden….
It’s in 1970, in the beautiful regions of Vercors that everything begins…
For Rodolphe Balz, there is no doubt that the aromatic plants of his region are magical.
Indeed, the essential oils of the latter contain many virtues such as: antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, healing, calming.
The reason for the name of the brand, inspired by "health through flowers".
It is in 1972 that the Experimental Botanical Garden seen the light, in the heart of the Vercors natural park (where you can walk around), containing more than 350 aromatic and medicinal plants!!
Let's not forget to mention that Sanoflore started the adventure with basic herbal teas as a production to expand later on in phytotherapy, aromatherapy and cosmetic products !
For this, it was no longer enough for them to have just cultivates its raw materials, but has also developed an experimental farm and a distillery designed according to traditional methods

An experimental vocation
At the beginning their problematic was: how to cultivate the organic plant?
The first nature of Sanoflore is to be a farmer, the farmers are grouped in a group of producers called the sicabioplante but then there's a whole process that follows ...
What I find interesting and human behind all this is their mission to guarantee the quality, safety and ethics of the product in the end.
They really have to master everything, from the seed cultivation to the finished product, the brand is involved in fact throughout the process.
A sixth sense: the organic challenge
Organic products, originally reserved for an "elite" of the population, because of their price and that this was not the trend of the moment, but today we are witnessing a boom in natural and organic products, faced with consumers concerned about the compositions and ingredients they use on their skin but also by attaching particular interest in the environment and reducing waste and pollution.
That’s why since the beginning Sanoflore works with local farmers and are attached to their controlled raw materials coming from the plant, very noble and very effective materials.
