Little chat with a Melvita customer


Last week, I had the chance to talk with a friend of Lili about organic products.

Her name is Elsa, she is a 23 years old business student.

And of course, we talked about Melvita… I wanted to know what were her feelings about the brand.

She told me she knew some products, she bought in pharmacy day creams, make-up remover and that her mother had some products too. And that really caught my attention, as I wrote an my article “Who hides behind a #Melvita” and I discovered that women in their 50’s are the second group of people to mention Melvita. But we will talk about it later…


Elsa told me she discovered 3 years ago Melvita, all alone, in a pharmacy; she was looking for organic products as she wanted to change her consumption.

And there she was, throwing herself into the wonderful world of natural products. Once you’re there you don’t want to go back! Her first impressions: weird but nice results ! For instance, she was a little surprised that the shampoo did not foam at all.

After testing some products, she can testify that Melvita’s products are great, especially the day creme, the make-up remover in blue bottle, the anti-wrinkle cream, the deodorant.

Moreover, she gave me her greatest advice: if you’re tired of being disappointed by “so-called natural products” but with tones of alcohol, and silicon hidden, and you want real good products, use the INCI beauty app !

That is how she found her favourite Melvita’s deodorant aluminium-free, 0% alcohol, 0% paraben… she was looking for a nice deodorant and she saw it on the app!

“Try it and you will love it !”

Elsa is a generous person, when she has a treasure in her hand, she shares it, and as she is the one who pays the most attention to what she buys in her group of friends, she is the one recommending products to them.

“But only the products I tried before” she specifies.

Elsa uses Facebook and Instagram and follows some brands on IG as L’Occitane (the group to which Melvita belongs), and Yves Rocher. She sometimes reads articles on blogs about natural shampoos, she likes to see the reviews. But she would never post on social media a recommendation or a #Melvita to talk about a product. She hardly ever posts a story, so she doesn’t see herself AT ALL playing the influencer.


About her mother: she is 54 years old, works in a medical profession, and her family lives in Ardèche! Everything is brought together to make it love at first sight! And it is! When Elsa’s mother heard that a brand born in Ardèche was making great and organic product, she couldn’t help it, she wanted to support local producers, and test their products.
